Summertime, and the cookin’s easy.

Cookouts and barbecues are fun for the little ones, but sometimes you just want to hang out with the big kids.

Homemade desserts can take a back seat during the summer (who wants to turn on an oven?).  Let us take care of the baking – and you can take the credit. Impress your adult friends with a fancy, liqueur-laced dessert. Line up a tray of different, decadent cheesecake shooters and let your guests create their own Dessert Flight.

They’ll eat it up.

You’ll need:
Melon baller or small ice cream scoop (called a #100 scoop by professionals)
Tall shot glasses or cordial glasses
Eli’s Cheesecake, any flavor
Liqueur, any flavor
Fruit, nuts, candies and whipped cream for garnishing

Simply scoop 2 scoops of cold Eli’s Cheesecake into a tall shot glass, then top off with a shot of liqueur, and add a sprinkle of your favorite fresh fruits, nuts or whipped cream. Serve with a small spoon.

Try some of my favorite combos:
Eli’s Key Lime Cheesecake with Southern Comfort
Eli’s Chocolate Chip Cheesecake with Amaretto
Eli’s White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake with Chambord
Eli’s Totally Turtle Cheesecake with Chocolate or Coffee Liqueur
