ELI’S HEROES, J. Locke, Baton Rouge, LA

This (Poboy) sandwich is an institution in south Louisiana. The Poboy Express is a sandwich shop here, and is owned and operated by an American citizen, who is a Palestinian Moslem family. Someone spread a rumor that there was some celebration in the shop when the disaster occured in New York and Washington, D. C. last Tuesday. The owner and his employees denied the rumor, and several customers supported him with testimonials of his innocence and refuted the vicious rumor. He was expressing his fear that this might devastate his business.

I was not aware that it was sold anywhere in Baton Rouge until today. I shall be glad to spread this rumor to many that I have told about our delightful discovery of your cheesecake there. I was also fortunate that you were there at the time, and we enjoyed meeting and visiting with you. GOD has blessed us all in so many ways; So now, we must pray for GOD to continue his blessings for us and for America.
