When I was in college, I was in a sorority and, when the girls in the house were seniors, everyone got what was called a “Senior Dinner”. The “Senior Dinner” was a formal occassion where everything, from the salad to the dessert was of the graduating senior’s choosing- and it could be imported (where reasonable). Literally, every girl from the Chicago-land area had Eli’s Cheesecake. . .the most popular was probably chocolate chip. And I can testify personally to the fact that, when the meal was over, no cheesecake was wasted!!! Everyone at the Kappa household at Indiana University knew about Eli’s Cheesecake; when I think about cheesecake, that’s the first thing that comes to mind.
