AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
 

Position: Retail Store Associate
Basic Function: Champions and sells all of Eli’s Cheesecake’s products and services with enthusiasm, while providing superior customer service and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.   
                        

Specific Areas of Responsibility: 

• Opens and closes retail store as scheduled.
• Offers superior customer service in the retail store/café to provide an exciting customer friendly environment.
• Shares product knowledge and assists in making café products such as coffee, cappuccinos, smoothies, shakes, breakfast sandwiches, etc.
• Replenishes dessert showcases and product displays as necessary.
• Replenishes and organizes stock and supplies as necessary.
• Conducts accurate business transactions on the cash register
• Reconciles sales transactions at the end of business day.
• Maintains proper sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Cleans and prepares café for next day business.
• Co-ordinates displays, promos and seasonal decorations.
• Hosts tours and special events as required.
• Assists in the preparation and management of dock sales.
• Assists in preparation of Annual Cheesecake Festival
• Takes a leadership position within the store when store manager is not present.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills and Qualifications: 

• Must have previous experience in a food service environment.
• Must posses High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Demonstrates basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and pounds to ounces conversions).
• Must posses basic English reading and comprehension skills.
• Must perform physical tasks of standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work with limited or no supervision.
• Must have, and demonstrate, leadership skills necessary for promotion to supervisory or leadership position.
