No purchase necessary.  Void where prohibited.  Some restrictions apply.

The sweepstakes: From 12:01am Central time on September 10, 2007, through 2:00pm Central time on September 15, 2007.

Eligibility: In order to submit entries, the person must be a legal resident of the continental United States.  Each person may submit only one entry or the person will be disqualified.  Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have within the past six months performed services for Eli’s Cheesecake Company, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play.  "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses.  "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

How to enter: (i)  register on-line at www.cheesecakefestival.com, or (ii) include requested information by The Eli’s Cheesecake Company on a plain 8½” by 11” piece of paper.  Entries must be mailed to:  Eli’s Valentine’s Bash Sweepstakes, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago, IL  60634 and postmarked by September 14, 2007.  Entries may also be faxed to 773-205-3801.  All sweepstakes entries become the property of The Eli’s Cheesecake Company and will not be returned and may be used by The Eli’s Cheesecake Company for any purpose and in any media in perpetuity.  (iii) register at the location of Eli’s Cheesecake World 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago, IL  60634 .

How to win: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by The Eli’s Cheesecake Company from all qualified entries on September 15, 2007 at 4:30pm at Eli's Cheesecakem 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago IL 60634.  In the event that the original Grand Prize winners do not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she forfeits the Grand Prize, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company will award the prize to a randomly drawn first alternate.  Winner must be present to recieve grand prize. Process will continue until the Grand Prize is awarded. 

All entries must be received on or before September 15 2007 at 2:00 p.m..  The decision of the judges and The Eli’s Cheesecake Company is final.  Grand Prize winners will be notified by phone and must meet all eligibility requirements.

By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by the rules.  The Eli’s Cheesecake Company,  Harry Caray's, their promotional agents and sweepstakes co-sponsors are not responsible for illegible, lost, delayed or misdirected mail, errors in faxes or shipments, busy phone signals, or incomplete entries.

Grand Prize: the winner will receive lunch for 4 guests at Harry Caray's restaurant,  10233 West Higgins Road, Rosemont IL 60018 at 12:00 p.m. Central time on Sunday, September 16th, 2007. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Lunch will be from a choice of entrees and Eli's Cheesecake selected by Harry Caray's restaurant. No liquor will be served. There are no other prizes.  If the winner cannot attend the event on the specific date agreed, there are no substitute prizes. 

The Grand Prize is non-transferable.  No cash or other substitutions of prizes by winner.  However, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason.   The adult, parent or legal guardian of winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to entire prize.

Adult, parent, or legal guardian of the Grand Prize must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification Form (“the Form”): a) releasing, indemnifying and holding harmless  Eli’s Cheesecake Company, Harry Caray's, their parent, affiliated, subsidiary and successor companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, advertising agencies and promotional sponsors (collectively the “Releasees”) from and against any and all harm, expense, liability or injury that may be sustained relating to or arising from participation in the sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize; and b) authorizing the Releasees to use the winners’ names, likenesses, photographs, voices and biographical data for any purpose, in any media, unless prohibited by law.

Prize will not be released until The Eli’s Cheesecake Company receives all required documents.  Failure of Grand Prize to return the Forms within the required timeframe will result in automatic forfeiture of any prize and such prize shall be awarded to the next alternate winner.  In the event of a prize forfeiture, adult, parent, or legal guardian of winner forfeiting the prize will sign a Prize Forfeit Form and return it to The Eli’s Cheesecake Company within ten (10) days of Form’s receipt.

Unforeseen Events: The Eli’s Cheesecake Company, Harry Caray's, reserve the right to change this sweepstakes at their sole discretion at any time that they may become aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the sweepstakes security or fairness and are not responsible for the inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason.

List of Winners: For a copy of winner list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Eli’s Cheesecake Company Greg Raposo Contest, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago, IL between September 16th, 2007 and October 16th, 2007.
